This product consists of four modules:
ePREOP Connect: A simple to use GI and surgical scheduling platform is launched from within the Allscripts toolbar. This triggers a discrete transfer of all patient data (demographics, insurance, allergies, medications, conditions, family history, surgical history) to the location of procedure and is also accompanied by the scheduling request.
ePREOP Clinical Decision Support: ePREOP offers industry leading evidence based and completely customizable consensus based recommendations. These recommendations are generated from real time data and are intended to eliminate unnecessary tests, decrease case delays/cancellations, and improve postoperative outcomes. The report is presented at the point of care and improves workflow in a process that fulfills the potential of electronic health records.
ePREOP Auth Check: ePREOP is partnered with Passport Health Communications and provides links to hundreds of insurers nationwide. Insurance companies accepting authorization requests from ePREOP are likely to see significant decreases in costs associated with unnecessary tests and consults. Patient authorization status is automatically obtained and shared with the location of procedure, eliminating time wasted tracking down status between provider and insurer.
ePREOP Admin: The Admin module contains an advanced checklist and tracking board system. These features are accessed through a SSO with patient context directly out of Allscripts. The module provides the user with ability to both edit patient information and track the patient progress throughout the perioperative continuum. The user interface makes it simple for all authorized parties to simply visualize the status of a patient’s progress, track readiness, and seamlessly share information between the surgeon office and facility.
